Dryflow filtren lämpar sig bäst där man kör många drift timmar då de har bättre rening av skräppartiklar. Lämpar sig även mycket bra för de som använder luftmassemätare då dryflow är oljefria och riskerar därmed inte att störa luftmassemätaren genom att det kan släppa olja från filtret på givaren.

Effekt:

Cirka 800hp men helt beroende på andra motorkomponenter. Detta filter ger mest flöde/effekt per cm2 filteryta i sin klass.

Konstruktion:
Filtermaterial som är uppbyggt i lager med ett stålskelett som ger luftfiltret stabilitet för att klara surge och tryckstötar på bästa sätt. Flera andra tillverkare använder invändiga plastkorgar för att hålla upp filtret som vi sett gått sönder flera gånger där plastbitar och in turbo och riskerar att skada och förstöra den. Detta slipper man riskera med Hurricane Dryflow luftfilter.

Montering:
Ta bort den gamla luftfilter burken och låt gummiringen sitta kvar på turbon och montera Hurricane sportluft filter.

Rengörning:

1. Fyll en hink med vatten och filterrengöring/såpa
2. Doppa filtret i vattnet och snurra runt
3. Ta upp filtret och låt rinna av och lufttorka

Hantering:
Hurricane motorsport luftfilter är väldigt slitagemotståndigt men skall ända hanteras varsamt för att hålla uppe maximal effekt och flöde.

Hurricane air filter DryFlow

Dryflow filters are best suited for applications where you drive many hours of operation as they have better cleaning of debris particles. Also very suitable for those who use air mass meters as dryflows are oil-free and therefore do not risk disturbing the air mass meter by releasing oil from the filter onto the sensor.

Power:

Approximately 800hp but completely dependent on other engine components. This filter provides the most flow/power per cm2 of filter surface in its class.

Construction:
Filter material that is built up in layers with a steel skeleton that gives the air filter stability to cope with surges and pressure surges in the best way. Several other manufacturers use internal plastic baskets to hold the filter up, which we have seen break several times where pieces of plastic get into the turbo and risk damaging and destroying it. This is not a risk with the Hurricane Dryflow air filter.

Installation:
Remove the old air filter can and leave the rubber ring on the turbo and install the Hurricane sports air filter.

Cleaning:

1. Fill a bucket with water and filter cleaner/soap
2. Dip the filter in the water and spin around
3. Remove the filter and let it drain and air dry

Handling:
The Hurricane motorsport air filter is very wear-resistant but should still be handled with care to maintain maximum power and flow.
